Noor-e-Oud is LinBerlin's white oud attar — built around white oud, layered with bergamot, cardamom, white rose, jasmine, sandalwood, white musk, and amber. It's brighter and more refined than a typical dark oud, built for anyone who wants real oud depth without the heavier, smokier character of a black oud.
White oud has a reputation for being the more approachable side of oud — still unmistakably oud, but layered with florals and warmth rather than leather and smoke.
How It's Built
Noor-e-Oud opens with bergamot and cardamom — bright and a little spiced, before white oud takes over alongside white rose and jasmine through the heart. That combination is where the fragrance becomes genuinely floral-forward while staying rooted in real oud. By the base, sandalwood, white musk, and amber settle in, giving it a warm, refined finish rather than a smoky or resinous one. It's the kind of oud that works for someone who wants the depth without the intensity of a darker blend.
Attar vs. Perfume
If you prefer a spray for everyday use, we also make Saphir, our white oud perfume — the same bright, layered character, in an easy spray format. Noor-e-Oud is the traditional attar version.
Who It's For
Noor-e-Oud is unisex. The floral heart and warm base keep it from reading too dark or heavy, which is what makes it work the same way regardless of who's wearing it.
How to Wear It
Like all LinBerlin fragrances, Noor-e-Oud is made for fabric and clothing, not for direct skin application. Because it develops through stages, give it a few minutes after applying before judging the scent fully — the floral heart and warm base take time to come through.
Caring for the Scent
Apply from a short distance so it spreads evenly across the fabric instead of pooling in one spot. Let it settle before wearing. Keep the bottle away from direct sunlight or heat, like any fragrance oil. Test a hidden corner first on delicate fabrics, since oil-based scents can sit differently depending on the material. Since it develops in stages, avoid judging the full character too early — the floral heart needs a little time to show up.
